Hi Pompey fans!!!

Post by Macedonian_pompey »

First of all i would like to wish you a very happy Christmas. I hope you're having a great couple of days with your love ones.
Believe it or not, i'm still a Pompey fan, i'm watching highlights from every match and i'm reading what's new around Pompey world. The things now have changed, personally in my life. Now i'm working as a programmer in one company and my time is a little bit limited. Still, sometimes i'm "stealing" some time to read whats new here.
About Pompey i think we're on good way to be promoted this season. That boy Chapplin is something special. A couple of times he's coming of the bench to score some important goals. And what about Tubbs? Why he is not in the squad for a couple of games? Is he injured?

Merry Christmas, Macedonian.

Glad to hear you're doing well.

Tubbs is injured but our new loan players, McNulty and Lavery, are impressing to such a degree that I think Tubbs may be on his way out if we can land them at least for the rest of the season, hopefully longer.

We have some good options up front with McGurk, Chaplin and also Tubbs (when fit). Also the lad from Bournemouth is an option.

Good to hear from you Macedonian - yes, we are in a better place and glad you can keep the faith and keep on supporting us. We need another keeper and you're right about Chaplin. He's going to be one of the better things to come from our Academy! Happy New Year and as EG says, it's good to see you going so well.....

Can someone tell me more about Pompey financial status? Are we stable?

Yes, we are stable - or so it would appear. The new board seems to be keeping a close eye on the money, our budgets appear to have been set conservatively, certainly we have paid off the old debts ahead of schedule, which is a good thing.

Good to hear from you, old chap.
