Re: Your Team for Wycombe
Thank **** we can carry on with the season now.
You can't always trust what Mous says about injuries - it's one of his tactics to spring a surprise I'll predict the score instead - 2-1 us.

Re: Pompey Accounts.
They already know we need it, but it's out of their hands at the moment. Maybe us getting promoted will be the incentive for it to go ahead eventually - fingers crossed.pompeygunner wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 5:26 pm We need that new NS upper really, but I wouldn't dare tell Tornante what they need to do-they're doing a great job.

Nice one. A very good insight into the club. Fingers crossed for the North Stand and the various ambitions for the area.

Re: New England Kit
I never said I wanted to beat foreign teams because they were foreign. It is because beating their opponents, ie non English teams That's what I wrote Wally. We are playing an opposing team - nationality shouldn't come into it. And I wasn't picking out a passage to manipulate my own view - I used y...

Re: New England Kit
Thank you.......I think! The good news for you is I wouldn't think I was actually back. If you want your national team to win and you are pleased they have won, against a foreign team, what is that if it is not being nationalistic? I do agree there is good and bad nationalism depending on what driv...

Re: Farewell.
An appalling term used to try and sway opinions when there are no facts or evidence of anyone speaking up on a subject - very manipulative. Am not saying you're doing that BA, but I've seen it used in the media by MP's and the like. It's a vacuous phrase.

Re: Farewell.
It's the whole 'Ive got to announce my departure' thing that makes me laugh. I'd expect it from a teenager or similar age. Spending too much time on forums is not a healthy thing. And when things start to feel personal it's time for a break from them.

Re: Barnsley Game.
i've also parked on Bransbury Road. But the end nearest Milton Road - and PFC - is often full of residents' cars. There are often spaces further down the road but it's then a longer walk - maybe 25 minutes. Last time I came by car, I parked in the City Centre and walked down from there - no free pa...

Re: Barnsley Game.
As far as I know, the parking at Tesco goes down from 3 hours normally to 90 minutes on a match day. I normally try and park on one of the side roads off Haslemere Road (think it was Pretoria Road last Tuesday for the Burton game). As long as you're there reasonably early there's normally space, an...

Re: Barnsley Game.
Am trying to work out a way to attend the game. Is the Tesco car park available for evening games during the week?
